Automated Test Translation
Project description
A personality-test publisher was paying about $10 a language to localise tests into +20 languages. Volume ran to roughly 200 documents a month. New markets, like a sudden spike in in an emerging market traffic, meant picking which tests to translate and which to leave in English.
I offered to kill that bottleneck. Research was free. The proof of concept was paid. The target was one automated n8n workflow, a fraction of the cost, and no more copy-paste.
I built a custom n8n workflow with AI agents, tuned on their real test files. Drop the English document in a Google Drive folder, hit Run, pick up the batch in the output folder: formatting kept, files named, ready for the developer to publish. Estimated run cost was a few cents for a full 17-language batch
The result: a working prototype the founder could run himself, about 90% of the manual work gone, and translation cheap enough to ship every test instead of the important ones for a fraction of the previous costs.
